Hi, I'm Abby. I'm kind of obsessed with furniture. It's a passion that snuck up on me after design school. I studied interior architecture at Miami University of Ohio. After school, I moved to San Francisco. My first job in furniture was at Hogue, now KBM. Hogue was notorious for teaching its employees every aspect of the furniture specification, order entry, and project management process. I ate it up. However, I really started to fall in love with furniture during a bid response for Pinterest. I did not win the bid, but I won a career. I was asked to join the team at One Workplace building the roles and responsibilities of their first Ancillary Specialist. While there, I dove into design package after design package recommending the best solutions for my clients. Later, I helped start Curate and Cayke in the Chicagoland area to ease the furniture specification process for all. Today, I'm continuing that mission.
